GUI VS CLI OPERATING SYSTEM

Q.1. What do you mean by CLI and GUI?
Ans: The main difference between GUI and CLI is that the Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows the user to interact with the system using graphical elements such as windows, icons, menus while the Command Line Interface (CLI) allows the user to interact with the system using commands.

Q.2. What is difference between CUI and GUI operating system?
Ans: CUI stands for Character User Interface while GUI refers to Graphical User Interface. Though both are interfaces and serve the purpose of running the programs, they differ in their features and the control they provide to the user.

Q.3. Why is GUI better than CLI?
Ans: Because a GUI is visually intuitive, users tend to learn how to use a GUI faster than a CLI.
A GUI offers a lot of access to files, software features, and the operating system as a whole. Being more user-friendly than a command line, especially for new or novice users, a GUI is utilized by more users.
